Custom Instructions ✍️

While the Workbench offers one-click actions like "Make it Shorter" or "Make it Punchier," sometimes you need something specific. Custom Instructions let you type exactly what you want — in plain English.

How to Use Custom Instructions

  1. Open the Workbench — Hover over any content section and click the wrench icon.
  2. Click "Custom" — Find the Custom option at the bottom of the action menu.
  3. Type Your Instruction — Describe what you want in plain language.
  4. Press Enter — Watch your content transform.

Example Instructions

"Make it sound like a frustrated entrepreneur who finally found the solution"

"Add a P.S. with a limited-time offer"

"Rewrite for a Gen Z audience, use casual language"

"Add three bullet points highlighting the ROI"

"Make it more skeptical — address objections upfront"

Tips for Great Instructions

  • Be Specific — "Add urgency" is okay, "Add a 48-hour deadline" is better.
  • Describe the Outcome — Focus on what you want, not how to get there.
  • One Thing at a Time — Keep instructions focused. Chain multiple changes if needed.

💡 Pro Tip

Your custom instructions work with Brand Voice. Say "rewrite in brand voice but make it funnier" to combine both.
