Update Your Password Anytime
Regularly changing your password is a good security practice. Here's how to update your password and best practices for choosing a secure one.
How to Change Your Password
- Click your profile icon in the top navigation
- Select Settings from the dropdown
- Navigate to the Security tab
- Click "Change Password"
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password
- Confirm your new password
- Click "Update Password"
Instant Update
Your password changes immediately. You won't be logged out of your current session, but you'll need the new password for future sign-ins.

Creating a Strong Password
Do
- • Use a unique password for CreativeBuzz
- • Make it long (12+ characters is ideal)
- • Use a passphrase (multiple words)
- • Use a password manager
- • Mix letters, numbers, and symbols
Don't
- • Reuse passwords from other sites
- • Use personal info (birthday, name)
- • Use common words (password, 123456)
- • Share your password
- • Write it on a sticky note

Forgot Your Password?
If you can't sign in and don't remember your password:
- Go to the sign-in page
- Click "Forgot Password"
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for a reset link
- Click the link and set a new password
Reset Link Expires
Password reset links expire after 1 hour for security reasons. If your link has expired, simply request a new one.
When to Change Your Password
Consider changing your password if:
- You suspect someone may know your password
- You've used the same password on a breached site
- You shared your password (then changed your mind)
- It's been a year or more since your last change
- You signed in on a public or shared computer
