  3. Navigate to the Security tab
  4. Click "Change Password"
  5. Enter your current password

Instant Update

Your password changes immediately. You won't be logged out of your current session, but you'll need the new password for future sign-ins.

Password Requirements

Your password must meet these requirements:

At least 8 characters long
Include at least one uppercase letter
Include at least one lowercase letter
Include at least one number

Creating a Strong Password

Do

  • • Use a unique password for CreativeBuzz
  • • Make it long (12+ characters is ideal)
  • • Use a passphrase (multiple words)
  • • Use a password manager
  • • Mix letters, numbers, and symbols

Don't

  • • Reuse passwords from other sites
  • • Use personal info (birthday, name)
  • • Use common words (password, 123456)
  • • Share your password
  • • Write it on a sticky note

Strong Password Examples

Here are examples of strong password strategies:

Passphrase Method

Combine random words that are memorable to you:

Substitution Method

Take a sentence and convert it:

"I love coffee at 8am!" → ILuv<0ff33@8am!

Forgot Your Password?

If you can't sign in and don't remember your password:

  1. Go to the sign-in page
  2. Click "Forgot Password"
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Check your email for a reset link
  5. Click the link and set a new password

Reset Link Expires

Password reset links expire after 1 hour for security reasons. If your link has expired, simply request a new one.

When to Change Your Password

Consider changing your password if:

  • You suspect someone may know your password
  • You've used the same password on a breached site
  • You shared your password (then changed your mind)
  • It's been a year or more since your last change
  • You signed in on a public or shared computer

Extra Protection

For maximum security, combine a strong password with two-factor authentication.
